It’s time for the annual crayfish party. At this point, do reserve the date September 6 for this event. We will publish more information here soon. Also, the registration is about to start very soon.

Alumni Beers is a a casual meeting for the BBA/BScBA Alumni. The meeting takes place on the first Wednesday at 18.00 of every “even month” (i.e. February, April, June, August, October and December). We are still looking for an optimal venue. The first two meetings were held in Memphis, Hesari.

Come and join, spread the word and bring your Baba friends along!

This year’s Annual Meeting followed by an informal party will be held on Friday, February 15th, 2008 at 6 p.m. The venue is the KY Student Union building on Pohjoinen Rautatiekatu 21 B, 3rd floor, Helsinki. At this meeting, the year will be reviewed and a new alumni board will be selected.

Take a Baba friend along, join us for a Friday beer or cider, and discuss the future of HSE Mikkeli. Later on, the party will continue at the neighboring KY Club.

The “Innovation university”, combining HSE, the Helsinki University
of Technology and the University of Art and Design Helsinki, has
made the role and future of HSE Mikkeli uncertain. Probba President
2007 Joel Karjalainen says, “We are in between two battles. KY
officially wants to keep the program up and running, at least until the
Innovation University starts up. SEFE’s stand is that centralized larger
units are the future.”

Registration for this year’s crayfish party has begun through the website. Due to last year’s success, the Crayfish Party will be held again in Kuntomaneesi in Suomenlinna, Helsinki on Saturday, September 8th, 6 to 12 p.m. Click on Contact & Registration and sign up for the party NOW!

Babalumni News – Summer 2007

Our annual summer event will be held on Wednesday, July 18th, 6 p.m in Helsinki’s Hietsu. This year’s theme is beach games, so bring your friends and challenge each other in beach volley or “mölkky” – equipment is provided. In case of rain, nearby restaurant Mestaritalli will be the meeting point. No sign-up necessary.
