Welcome to the New BScBA Alumni Website
The fundamental purpose of the BScBA Alumni is to create a network for the benefit and use of its members. This is exactly what the alumni board seeks to accomplish with the website makeover.
In order to ease interaction among members we have provided a secured forum on the site. The forum enables the graduates to get in touch with their own classmates and to contact other people within the alumni network. We believe that having access to contact information makes it possible for members to get together for class reunions, meet with their long-lost friends or contact another member easily on work related issues. Naturally, the forum is only accessible to registered members of the alumni, who need to sign in to the site with their username and password.
In addition to being a place for general discussion and a vehicle to send private messages to other members, the forum also functions as a bulletin board for members to inform others on open vacancies, internships, other career opportunities, parties of the decade etc.
Alumni is also going to increase its cooperation with Probba, the Student Union of Helsinki School of Economics Mikkeli campus. The details of this cooperation will be outlined together with Probba. However, one could expect joint efforts lead not only to better parties, but also to more opportunities for current students to benefit careerwise from the network of graduates.
Alumni board has high expectations for the new website. However, for it to be a success and worth the effort we need your help. So, please, register to the forum and advice your classmates to register as well. The initial username and password will be sent to you soon by email if you are already in the Alumni mailing list. If not, you can obtain them by registering through Contact & Registration link.
Needless to say that only though active participation of each graduate this website serves the purpose it has been set up for. The choice is yours. However, we believe that contacting a friend is always worth the effort, and that giving an opportunity for another Baba to apply for an open job in your organisation does not hurt either.
